Introduction, Part Two
Why "Settler Stories"?
I'll warn you right off the bat - I'm not a "social" genealogist. I research my family background to selfishly satisfy my own curiosity. I'm horrible at keeping my social media updated and am equally terrible at getting back to people. In short, I'm a cranky cat lady born in the wrong century!
That being said, I do want to stretch my creative muscles. I do want to create a personal platform that has poses no pressure to post at specific times, subjects, etc. I won't guarantee I'll be posting here regularly, though see below for the one exception.
I've decided to participate in Amy Johnson Crow's 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks for 2023. The link will take you to my page for the challenge, with a further link there to the challenge detail/signup site.
At the moment, "Settler Stories" contains mainly the challenge posts, though there will also be a few other bits and bobs.
